BALI ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY for Alan & Melody
Alan & Melody visited our magical island especially to celebrate their recent engagement through photographs.
Their brief to me was they wanted natural looking photographs in Bali’s beautiful environment. They wanted a balanced mix of portraits showing them as a couple, as well as photographs that incorporated the ‘real Bali’.
Well, that is exactly what I normally do. And I guess that is also the reason why they choose me for their Bali engagement photography.
We started the day of with a session on a beach that has lovely black sand, as well as spectacular rock formations. After that, we had another session on another beach, this time with horses. And I was amazed how quickly Alan & Melody ‘mastered’ horseback riding. Something they told me they had never done before.
Next was a session in a secluded forest. During that part the ‘electricity’ among those two became most evident during this Bali engagement photography session.
We then went on to another 2 or 3 locations before finishing off the day for sunset photos.
During the Bali engagement photography shoot the couple changed dresses 3 times – all dresses from my own dress collection.
I am particularly proud that Alan wrote me an email after he saw the photos for the first time and told me he completely loved the pictures. He also remarked how much fun it was to do this engagement shoot. This was special to me because it is not common that a groom writes to me.
Alan & Melody thank you so much for letting me do this Bali engagement photography session with you guys. I hope to see you again some day.
