Bali Pre Wedding shoot for Cindy & Ryan
This lovely couple came all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Bali. Preceding their arrival in Bali we had several discussions about the theme and style for their pre wedding shoot in Bali. Cindy emphasized on the photos being as natural and unposed as possible. And she said she wanted her photographs to be different. Not the same boring photos like many couples take in front of touristy spots in Bali.I gladly accepted this challenge for Cindy & Ryan’s Bali pre wedding shoot.
I proposed to incorporate water and the sea in their shoot. At first, the couple was a bit hesitant. But after showing them some previous Bali pre wedding shoot pictures in the sea they loved the idea. So we started the day at the beach where they gradually got wet and ended up immersing themselves in the waves.
After that we continued this Bali pre-wedding shoot n the water, but this time in a private pool. It yielded some lovely intimate and very emotional portraits of the couple.
During the afternoon we did a more classical Bali pre-wedding shoot. Whereby the couple used some of the dresses from our dress collection and we headed out into nature.
Again, Cindy explicitly requested me to incorporate rural Bali in their pictures, rather than going to the same location which the majority of Bali pre-wedding photographers go.
Fortunately, my studio is located in close proximity to a part of Bali that is still untouched by tourism and offers many lovely spots where the authentic Bali is still to be found.
And during the mid afternoon, we did also some photographs on horseback. Those were done on the same stretch of beach where we went in the morning, only 5 minutes drive from my studio and residence.
All-in-all perfect conditions for a not-so-conventional Bali pre-wedding shoot.
I leave you in the following with some impressions of this wonderful shoot.
