BALI BEACH WEDDING: Aaron & Michelle

I have to say that this Bali White Sand Beach Wedding remains one of my all-time favorites. Why ?

Because everything was perfect ! First and foremost a lovely couple. Easy, outgoing and such a pleasure to work with.

This Bali White Sand Beach Wedding was an elopement. And what I love about elopement weddings is that I can work very intimately with the couple and get to know them quite well. And working with Aaron & Michelle was indeed a very rewarding experience. They were open to any ideas I had and the only ‘condition’ was to have gorgeous sunset photos.

To comply with this wish we had to do quite some traveling. And we arrived just in time  on a secluded beach and witnessed a flawless sunset there.

Secondly, the location. This is probably the most lovely stretch of Beach in Bali. Bali has no lack of beaches, but this beach is the only one with truly white sand and calm, turquoise water.  A perfect backdrop for a romantic and stunning wedding.

Last, but most importantly the Gods of Bali have us perfect light on that day. I particularly love those into-the-light shots which we were able to get in the late afternoon. This light perfectly complemented the strong bond between the newlyweds.

After sunset Aaron & Michelle went off for an intimate dinner. No cameras, no photos allowed. And I can completely understand that. Because even though I love to photograph receptions and dinners I would also want to enjoy my first evening as a married couple in privacy.

Aaron, Michelle, I feel blessed that I had the honour to make your acquaintance and to be part of your fantastic wedding here on the island of the gods: Bali.
