Bali Beach Villa Wedding: Keith & Kelsi

The wedding of Keith & Kelsi took place on one of my favorite stretches of beach in Bali. In Ketwel. A bit north of Sanur and definitely off the beaten track. What I like about the beach there is that it is usually ‘wild’ and deserted.

To be precise the ceremony was not set directly on the beach, but on the lawn of a fantastic private villa overlooking the beach. Literally a stone-throw from the shoreline.

This fantastic wedding had an intimate and relaxed feel to it. Most of the guests had come all the way from the USA. Because the bride had spent part of her childhood in Indonesia, some Indonesian friends also attended.

Kelsi had chosen a beautiful color theme for the decor. Rather than me describing it please see below.

It was a pretty overcasted day and there was a real possibility of rain. But luckily it did not rain. And the late afternoon light was super soft, thus providing ideal conditions for photography.

After the ceremony, we embarked on a short photo session around the estate and on the beach. And we concluded the photo session during sunset.

The reception was all about good food and good company – very relaxed without any protocol and formalities. After everyone was done eating the bride & groom opened the dance floor with their first dance. A very emotional moment.

And it is always a pleasure to witness the ‘electricity’ between a couple so deeply in love.
