Ungasan Resort Villa Wedding: Jenny & Ryan

Jenny & Ryan’s Bali villa wedding was one of the best I have had the privilege to be part of.  Why ?

Because all the components of this Ungasan Resort Villa Wedding were nothing short of perfect.

A lovely couple – a stunning venue – beautiful decor – perfect weather – perfect timing – immaculate light – a cheerful crowd – great music – flawless wedding organisation and and and.. All 10 out of 10.

For this Ungasan Resort Villa Wedding, my team and I arrived early afternoon and we were immediately blown away by this fantastic venue and the photographic opportunities it offers .  I usually arrive one hour before my assignment commences. That way I have time to scout the location. And make plans on how my team and I can best photograph a wedding. We take test-shots, studying angles and vantage points.

We take test-shots, studying angles and vantage points. At this Bali villa wedding, we could hardly find any perspective that would not work. In fact, there were so many possible angles to photograph this event that we feared we may not even have enough time during the ceremony to take all the photos we planned to take.

Fortunately, the ceremony lasted long enough and we captured everything as planned. The late afternoon light allowed me to shoot some of my hallmark into-the-light shots. Thus amplifying the sheer beauty of this wedding.

After the ceremony concluded and the group and family photos were taken we headed down to the resorts’ beach to make use of the last 40 minutes or so of available light. It was so easy to work with Jenny & Ryan because I hardly had to give them any directions and simply let them be the beautiful newlyweds they were. Thus the resulting photographs have a very natural and unposed feeling to them.

The evening of this Bali villa / resort wedding was no less spectacular. But rather than me rambling on and on… I leave you with my favorite impressions of this wonderful Bali villa / resort wedding.
